Become a Mentor

All prospective Kappa League mentors are required to complete two steps prior to approval to work with our young men: (1) a formal criminal background check, and (2) Boy Scouts of America Youth Protection Training (YPT), a training course focused on recognizing, preventing, and reporting child abuse. Both must be successfully completed and documentation submitted to the Kappa League coordinator before a volunteer will be approved for mentorship activities.
